Virtual: The Salon at Mama Koko's -Tar Baby

Join us at the Salon at Mama Koko's for the discussion of Toni Morrison's novel, Tar Baby. Set in a fictional Caribbean Island, Isle des Chevaliers, Morrison creates a world of history and commentary on colonialism.  

At the same time, she offers the possibility of spiritual reconciliation and liberation using the trope of memory in this tale of the Orishas Shango and Oshun.
