In this introduction to the Literary Salon at Mama Koko's, we will begin by laying the foundation to explore the works of Toni Morrison in this year-long analysis of her novelistic writing.  The matriarch of all things literary and cultural in the Black story-telling tradition, Miss Morrison provides us with salient examples of imaginative writing and cultural archiving to enhance our own writing and critical thinking practices.  Her encoding of historical and cultural ideas provide a sturdy frame and archival record of the Black experience and serves as a solid model for crafting enduring narratives of trials and triumph.  Come join us virtually  Your registration for this first course is $20.00.  After that, you will pay $20 for the month of November and each subsequent month at $20.00 for two in-person meetings per month.
